Spin Studio is a private preview. It is open only to people we have invited by email, and the games are designed for children aged about four to eight playing with a parent or guardian nearby.
Who we are
Spin Studio is operated by Spin AI. If you have a question about this policy, or you want to see or delete what we hold, write to contact@smiti.ai and we will answer.
What we collect
From the adult who signs up: your email address, the month and year of your child's birth, the country or region you are in, and a record that you gave consent — what the consent said, and when. We use the email address to send you a sign-in link. There are no passwords.
While a child plays: what the child says to the game (as sound, and as the text we turn it into), what the game says back, and the ordinary details of a play session, such as which game, when, and how long.
We do not ask a child for their name, their address, or anything else that identifies them, and the games are not designed to elicit it.
How a child's voice is handled
A child's speech is turned into text on our own servers. It is not sent to an outside speech-recognition company. That was a deliberate choice and it is the part of this system we would least like to change.
The text of what a child says, and what the game replies, is sent to the language model that runs the game (see the table below) so the game can answer. Before it is stored for our own review, personal detail is stripped out of it automatically.
Using recordings to improve the games
We keep some recordings and transcripts to make the games better at understanding children. We only do this where the licence of the underlying model permits it; where it does not, the recording is never uploaded at all and the session is dropped from that store entirely, rather than collected and filtered later. You can tell us at any time that you would rather we did not, and we will delete what we have.
The companies that help us run it
These are the outside services a play session can reach, and the only ones:

That is the whole list. Spin Studio uses no advertising network, no attribution or install-tracking service, and no product-analytics service. Other products we build may use such services; none of them is wired into this one.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Our sign-in and sign-up pages use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell a person from an automated script. It runs invisibly — there is no puzzle to solve and nothing to click. To do that it collects technical information about the browser and the network it is on. Cloudflare has undertaken not to use it to profile or advertise to the people it sees.
Cloudflare's handling of that information is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which forms part of this policy.
What we do not do
- We do not sell anything about you or your child, ever.
- We do not show advertising, and we do not use advertising or tracking services. There is no analytics code on the pages a child plays on.
- We do not let a child's recording be used to train a model whose terms we have not checked.
How long we keep things
Sign-in links expire in thirty minutes and invitations in thirty days. Operational records of conversations are kept briefly for troubleshooting and then deleted automatically. Recordings kept for improving the games are held until you ask us to delete them, or until the preview ends.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about your family, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw your consent — which ends the account and removes the recordings. Write to contact@smiti.ai. You do not need a reason, and it will not be awkward.
Children's privacy
An account can only be created by an adult, from an invitation we sent to their email address, and only after they have read what we collect and agreed to it. A child cannot sign up. If you believe a child has created an account without a parent or guardian, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who we send it to, we will update this page and the date at the top. While this is a private preview, we will also email the people who have accounts.
